Hello! So, to those of you who don't know, I love to write and I recently came up with a really good story idea (in the middle of a math test, where you can't stop to write anything down, conveniently enough) and I am planning on beginning the slightly scary thought of putting it down on paper and attempting to write a book. Ah!!! The farthest that I have ever gotten in writing a book is about 70 pages in. The first 60 of these pages were written during NaNoWriMo which is an awesome event that takes place during the month of November. I was really productive in writing in November of 2016 while participating for the first time. I wrote a little more than 16,000 words. After the wonderful month of NaNoWriMo, I tried to keep writing as frequently, but after achieving about 18,000 words, I gave up. But now I am ready to start again! This time I am using a different story idea. Though I will not be sharing the actual concept for the book here, I want to use this website to kind of organize my thoughts on the whole book writing process. So here we go: The Novel: Part One |

When I began making this website I knew I wanted a section for writing, since reading and writing go hand in hand. Also, I love to write! ;-) Similar to the Book Blog rules, please use kind words and be thoughtful and respectful of other people's ideas, opinions, and work. Thanks!
You can blog: -story ideas -your writing -writing book recommendations (ex. Spilling Ink) -tips -your thoughts Have fun! |
